“Good [morning/afternoon], everyone! It’s an honor to stand before you today to talk about The Power of Faith. I want to share a personal testimony—a reminder that faith isn’t just about believing for miracles, but trusting God even in our toughest moments.”
The Hospital Experience
“Recently, I found myself in the hospital twice—rushed to the ER due to chest pains and numbness in my right arm. Tests revealed two issues:
• Plaque around my heart.
• A pinched nerve caused by a dislocated disc in my back.
I was overwhelmed. These physical challenges felt like spiritual attacks. My right hand—the one I use to write and fulfill my purpose—was numb. Lying in that hospital bed, I couldn’t help but ask, ‘God, what are You doing?’”
An Encounter with God
“During an MRI, something remarkable happened. The technician asked what music I wanted, and I chose gospel. The first song was ‘I Still Say Yes’. Tears filled my eyes as I gave God another yes. In that moment, I heard Him speak:
‘Daughter, let go of anything that no longer serves My purpose. Trust Me, and you’ll see the full manifestation of My promises.’
Those words settled deeply in my spirit.”
Faith in Action
“Back in my hospital room, God reminded me that I wasn’t there just for my health—it was a divine assignment. During my stay:
• I witnessed to four people.
• Prayed with two others.
• And encouraged my roommate, who shared her story of surviving ten heart attacks.
This reminded me that faith isn’t just for us—it’s meant to flow through us to bless others, even in our pain.”
A Revelation About the Heart
“The doctors spoke about plaque around my heart, but God revealed something deeper: just as plaque blocks blood flow, unresolved pain and fear can block the flow of His purpose in our lives.
So I prayed:
‘God, search my heart. Remove anything blocking my faith and trust in You.’
Faith requires surrender—letting go of what no longer serves His purpose.”
Lessons from the Hospital
“My time in the hospital wasn’t just about diagnoses; it was about revelation. I gained:
• Rest—learning to pause and trust Him.
• Clarity—recognizing areas to release.
• Confirmation—that His promises are still alive.
Faith often requires us to be still and let God work in the hidden places of our hearts.”
A Word of Encouragement
“Let me ask you:
• Is there ‘plaque’ around your heart?
• Are hidden fears or doubts blocking God’s purpose in your life?
• Where is He asking for another yes?
Faith isn’t passive. It’s surrendering to God and trusting Him to work all things for good.”
Closing
“Thank you for letting me share my story. My prayer is that it inspires you to trust God deeply, let go of what holds you back, and walk boldly in faith. God bless you.”
